Fine Art Framing
The framing of fine art requires consideration and skill that will ensure the artwork is preserved as best as
is possible. We understand that art carries value beyond it’s monetary worth and as such we treat each
artwork with respect and care. In your consultation we will inspect your artwork looking at it’s condition,
materiality and structure to identify the best style and framing techniques to marry your ultimate vision and
intent for the work along with the best materials and framing methods to preserve it. During the inspection
we may identify that the artwork could benefit from restoration before it is framed. In these instances, we
communicate that with you and facilitate the assessment with a conservator or connect you directly with a
conservator for further assessment. We work closely with art conservators to ensure the best outcomes
for your artwork.
The aesthetics of framing is personal. If you are a minimalist or maximalist or somewhere in between we
are here to assist you in navigating the plethora of choices in store. If you require a custom colour,
rounded corners, circular frame or even a custom profile we can help you.
